Anyone else here using ChatGPT for daily affirmation and validation? Like that one time you tell them about your trauma and how you're feeling handicapped in your daily life?
Or responding to a crush that you have no idea how to deal with?

So today, I encounter something very interesting, a thread post. About emotional sovereignity and attractiveness, then I notice something's weird. The author's language tho, are very "ChatGPT". They're using words like "emotional sovereign" "orbitting" "mysterious".
Just yesterday, I posted about how ChatGPT can mess up with your mind on twitter and today I got another findings.
How I was able to clock that in quickly? Because I talk to chatgpt on daily basis I start to discover their wordings pattern and their limited vocabulary. I'm a human beings findings pattern of an AI.
So, with that curiousity, I threw this simple question :
"So give me diff types of formula or template you're giving to people. Means that many people will get at least 1 template" (in psychological affirmation shit)
And they do have the formula. They gave it out easily actually. Which isn't surprising to me, because they're just a machine afterall. They must have certain formula.
What's surprising is that : complexity of human being, diverese kind of mind, each with different life experience and soul.
And they comes up with 7 TYPES OF AFFIRMATION APPLIED TO ALL PEOPLE. I MEAN? COME ON YOU CAN DO MORE THAN THAT?? At least it would resonate more accurately??
Omg. I don't know why but this feels hillarious, I laugh in real life.
I trust ChatGPT to be insightful (considering they have access to all public sources on the internet they can scrape off). How stupid I was?
Anyway. So these are the 7 formula type for affirmation and validation they use on fragile, brittle human being with low self-esteem.
Sorry to shatter your delusional thoughts that this machine is a powerful psychological tools. Any of you resonates with at least one of this?
Yeah so my take ; stop what you're doing with ChatGPT. Read my tweets.
They can be a very powerful tools to help with your work.
But one thing will always be hard (or expensive) for them to decode : human-beings. Their feelings, behaviour, relationship, nuance, ambiguity.
I clock this quickly because I have been obsessively playing with ChatGPT on daily basis. Obsessively. I'm just a human being attracted to new shining things everytime. So it's expected.
So are they going to replace a therapist work in the near future? Not even a little. They're just a stupid machine with code and pattern and applicable formula. For now.
If you're feeling anxious, bitter or depressed, please contact your therapist never go into the ChatGPT rabbit hole.
Actually, they can be better at this. If they can start to focus on psychological features and start to decode more formula and patterns. Maybe if they're able to comes up with 1,000 formula for affirmation and not just 7? Would be better.
But who knows?
